Last week with Daddy

This is the week where daddy goes back to school. I will miss our days home together. We became good buds and I really liked spending time with him. The plus side is that I will get to see mommy during the week as her job is flexible and lets her stay home with the Brodster.

Blue eyes anyone!
This past week was filled with playing outside, swimming, hanging with Ben Ben and watching Michigan lose their home opener:(

On Sunday I had a great time eating lunch with G and G Dunlap. We got to lay in the tall grass and take photos. I even got to see a praying mantis up close.I also had a chance to show them how good I can be at resisting a nap! I don't think mommy was thrilled with it though.

Brown Jumpsuit!

On Labor Day my daddy took me out to Parma to go and see G and G Parrott. Boy did we have fun! I played with the dogs and and spent good quality time with gramdma and grandpa.

Ohh! I almost forgot to tell you about my new jumping gym I received for being such a good son. My parents know that I have lots of energy and they were looking for a way for me to get it out besides in their arms. And this was the result. I am very pumped about this purchase.
This is for all my skeptics out there who don't belive that I am typing these blogs. How about them apples!

PHOTOS

I traveled down to Indianapolis this weekend so I am a little tired from the drive. I figured this would be a great week for pictures and lots of them. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Aunt Wendy!

Busy Busy World of Brody Parrott

What a crazy week we had last week! I was so tired I didn't get to write you all until today.

This past week was another great time spent with Daddy while Mommy finished up working at her old job. Daddy told me he took a new position at the school. We had to help him pack up his old classroom to move to a new one. I wasn't much help. When you're tired...your tired.

I really amazed Mom and Dad with my rolling ability during tummy time. I can now roll quite quickly from my tummy to my back. I still have to figure out how to go from back to tummy though.

My naps have continued to become my good friends. I enjoy getting at least 2 hours of sleep before and after noon. In between those times, watch out! I have learned the fine art of baby babbling- LOUD!!!!!

I discovered what a real live chicken was this week- this is Dolly. They are loud too! I think we could become good friends.

I met Mommy's old college friend Tenneile and her family this weekend. It was BIG fun. They all told me how cute I was. I just smiled. It was pretty cool to sleepover in a new place. I handled the change quite well.

I'm looking forward to another exciting weekend in Indianapolis this time.

Have a great week!

Where the Wild Things Are

This weeks was very FUN! I got to go to the Jackson County Fair AND my neighbors treated my parents and I to Binder Park Zoo. I've decided that animals are cool but so are little kids. They really make me laugh and smile- I love to just stare at them.

I also discovered what a strong grip I have. Boy, pulling hair really gets a reaction! I haven't figured out if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I just hold on tight until I get a couple pieces caught in my fingers.
I continue to gnaw on my fists...they taste great!
Mommy and Daddy have been working with my ball handling skills. I can grab and hold on for a little while. It is much easier to grab things with my left hand for some reason. I think Daddy is excited about that. Speaking of grabbing...I really like to pull on Mommy's flowers- the petunias are easiest to pull on.
I went to another wedding this weekend but decided to nap almost the entire time. Oh well. This week I get my pictures taken at Sears- that ought to be an adventure!

So long for now. Have a great week!

Dog Days of Summer

Summer is really flying by! I can't believe it's August already and I am quickly approaching my 3 month birthday. I have learned so many new things and met so many exciting people.
This past week I began to sleep a lot longer at night. One night, I made it 6 hours before I decided I was starving! I think it really made my mom happy.
I made my normal visits to the pool and the lake. I really LOVE to kick and splash. The waves were really neat too.
I traveled to Northville to visit my great grandma and grandpa Tucker. They were so much fun! We watched the Tigers on TV! I love to watch games on TV.
We also celebrated Wrigley's 2nd birthday. We had pizza, cupcakes and ice cream- yum, yum! Maddie, Delton and Grace came over to celebrate. I love to watch them move and play. It makes me smile every time.
They finally finished painting my house. I love the new color!
I ended my week at the Relay For Life event at Cascades Park. I really enjoyed watching all the people but more importantly I was amazed by a windsock that was hooked to a booth. It was a good time!
I am gearing up for a big week this week. Mommy goes back to work, Daddy is out of town for a couple days and Grandma Diane is coming over to play. I will also be going to my second wedding this summer. Stay tuned next week for photos of me on the dance floor!
