Fall Frenzy

The pumpkins are in full force now. My Mom, Grandma Deed and Grandpa Uck took me to the farm to pick out some pumpkins right out of the patch. I also got to feed chickens and cows. I even got to pick out freshly layed eggs from the chicken coop. I love to eat eggs for breakfast and nothing's better than farm-fresh eggs. It was a blast! Following the farm field trip I got to go to the Treehouse to play with Dawson and Isabelle- Mommy's friend Jen's kids. It was, of course, a great time.

I ended my day at the farm at The Parlour. I had a fabulous hot fudge ice cream cake. All I could say was "Mmmmmm..."

My Uncle Mike is crazy. I love to wrestle with him though. Even though we don't get to hang out much, I try and make the best of it. We had Uncle Mike, Aunt Heidi, Ella and Olivia over to celebrate Grandma Dede's birthday and also a belated party for Ella. We had yummy soup in bread bowls and fruit pizza. MY FAVORITE! Ella and I had a blast in my tunnel. See...

I keep forgetting to tell you all...I sleep at night now!!! It only took me 16 months to figure it out but I finally hit the sack at 8pm-ish and wake up around 730am the next morning. I mostly sleep in my bed too. Mom usually rocks me for a little while, then we lie on pillows on the floor and I pass out. Then somehow, I end up in my cozy bed. Oh...I also forgot to tell you, we converted my crib to a toddler bed now. I feel so cool. So grown up!

I am really getting the hang of the talking thing too! I say some new words like: truck, happy, peepee, poopee, and DeDe. I often mimick things people say. I especially like to copy their laughs. It always makes everyone crack up.

Stay warm!

I love the OUTDOORS!

I love to be outside. The weather makes no difference to me. I like to be out rain or shine, cold or hot. I don't think my parents feel the same way but I am determined to convince them. It was really cool the other day. We went for a long walk to Ella Sharp playground. It was so fun! I got to run and run all over the place. We found these cool apple, ball-looking things on the ground. Of course I kept picking them up and throwing them. As I mentioned before, the weather has little effect on whether I like to wear socks or not too. I love to be barefoot and take the opportunity whenever possible.

Dad tells me I am growing up into a big boy. I think he likes that I am now sleeping well at night, enjoy watching the big games with him on TV and have learned that playing on my own is fun. I don't always have to have someone right with me to have a great time. I have been showing my mom and dad that I know how to do chores too. I often times throw away my own diaper, I help put the pillows on the bed each morning, I flush the toilet, I brush my hair and teeth and I love to vacuum. Oh...I pick up sticks in the yard too. I love to be a good helper.

Happy Birthday to Grandma Dede! Can't wait to see Ella and Olivia this week!
Have a great week friends.

Flavors of Fall

Nothing better than celebrating birthdays....even better when they're belated celebrations. Dad and I are snacking on fabulous strawberry cake that Grandma Dede made for Mom's birthday dinner. Love the strawbies!

I got a hold of the camera the other day. Here are a couple pictures I took all by myself. Wrigley loves the camera...can't you tell?

We made our first visit to the orchard this past weekend. The weather was perfect, the animals were thrilled to have me poke at them and of course...the doughnuts were YUMMMMM MMMYY or I like to say "Mommmmyyyy" about everything these days. I decided to retire the word "ball" for a while and just say "Mommmyyy" instead. I may have said Mommy nearly 500 times on Sunday. I lost track after saying it so many times. It was hilarious, to me anyways:)

I have almost kicked my nasty cold. No fun having the drippy nose. I guess I can't complain much. I have only been sick a couple times in my life so far. I am very blessed! Did I tell you all how I got to drive??? Here I am going for my first drive in the Hummer. No keys allowed but boy I can imagine the wind blowing through my few hairs and the sun hitting me in the face as I cruise down the street. It won't be long...okay like another 15 years but who's counting.

Have a good one!

Touring the Town

Greetings! I met the infamous Captain Jackson this past Friday. He was like a real superhero. I even got my picture with him. I didn't expect to run into a superhero at the car show downtown but hey...you never know what you will find in Jackson. The car show was really cool. I got to see some really loud cars and motorcycles too.

Sunday was Grandpa Brad's birthday. Here we are celebrating at Outback Steakhouse. I loved the salad..yummmmm!!! Cold stuff feels good on the gums lately. Just when I think the teething thing is over another tooth seems to popping through. It hurts!!!! Not to mention the annoying drippy nose and uncontrollable drooling!!!!

Congrats to Aunt Wendy for getting a new position at Consumer's. YAY!!!!
Happy 3rd Birthday to my cousin Ella!!! Can't wait to party down when you come to town:)
Happy 23rd Birthday to Uncle Brian!

My New Ride

Hope you all are enjoying the fabulous weather as of late! I am eating up every last minute of sun by playing in the hose, walking around the block and playing on my new bike! Check it out below.

I find it a bit of a challenge to ride. I just don't get how to pedal yet but give it time...I will be racing the other neighbor kids. I tell Mom and Dad that I want a real motorcycle but they said this is more my size. Bummer, I love to see the real thing rumble down my street. I even make the same noise...rummmm rummmmmm!

I got my Halloween costume in the mail this past week. I like it I guess. Mom seems to think I look super cute. I just know it's pretty comfortable. Stay tuned for the unveiling next month!

I've had some rough days this past week. I really like to get into everything and make a huge mess. I leave a trail where ever I go. I am also not a big fan of listening to my parents sometimes. It's just a lot more fun to do your own thing and pretend you don't hear anyone telling you otherwise...until I get a time-out. Not too fun then!

Well, it's Monday night and you know what that means. HUTT BALL is on TV!!!!! Gotta go! Have a great week!

Go Tiges!

GO TIGERS! Mom, Dad and I went to see the mighty Detroit Tigers win once again! They are on fire. I decided to even watch them for a while before I tore off to the kid area. Here's my buddy Mickey, dressed and ready to play ball. I guess they don't want you touching him, I tried to anyways. I am such a rebel these days. Always pushing the limits.

Who needs WWF when you have a Wrigley. I love to wrestle and body slam him. He likes it too as long as I don't bug him while he's chewing his bone. We have an understanding. I even figured out how I can ride him. It's a blast. He just got a haircut the other day. I love his shaved tail, much easier to hold onto.

Happy Birthday to my Mom Mom. I decided to give her a couple new names for her birthday. I call her Mom Mom, Mahi Mahi, and Mui Mui. She loves it! Dad and I also planned a full day of activities for Mom. She was very surprised and said she loved each moment.

Tomorrow is Dad's first day at school. Wow, summer flew by. Mom and I will miss having Dad home with us.

Well...it's way past my bedtime and boy am I tired. No nap today!

Creatures of Toledo

Last week I made my very first visit to the Toledo Zoo. It was super fun! Daddy ended up not being able to come so Mom and I joined the Gaston family. We had a great time looking at all of the creatures. The monkeys were especially entertaining. They were wrestling and jumping everywhere. Here I am with Avah checking out the fish.

These things are called Jellyfish. I guess they are very dangerous and can hurt you if you ever come into contact with one.

We got to play on a jungle gym too. Here I am with Benn climbing up the slide. It's much more fun to go up the slide than down it.

Not too often we all sat down but my Mom managed to snap a shot of all of us taking a breather.

Hope you have a fabulous week!
