Friends

Happy Wednesday everyone! I have had a super fun week. For Valentine's Day I got to go hang out with Daddy's kids in his classroom. My mom brought cupcakes and all the goods to decorate them. They were yummy and I loved to visit with Daddy's students. I think they liked me too.

This is my buddy Dawson. We met up at the TreeHouse the other day to play. We kinda do our own thing when we get there but we are still friends. He really likes to climb on the tables and I was fascinated with the choo-choos, along with going UP the slides.

This is the baby area. I like to make an appearance in there just to show all the little kids the tricks. I'm sure my mom won't let me play in there much longer...I am almost 2!

I LOVE SNOW DAYS!!! Daddy and I worked hard on this snowman the other day. Isn't he cool? We used Mommy's hat and scarf, Daddy's gloves, red grapes for the eyes, mouth and buttons and a carrot for the nose of course. Wrigley did want in on the action too. It appears there are some missing button. Silly dog!

Enjoy the snow! Make a snowman.

Hot Dog!

HOT DOG!!! Not only is that one of my most favorite songs to sing but also makes for a great art project! I love to play with my food! Mommy and I made hot dog people the other day. She did the cutting with the knife because they are too sharp for kids to play with. Then we boiled the dogs and watched them transform into people. You'll see how cool they turned out below. Now, these hot dogs were actually pretty healthy. My mom bought them at Trader Joe's the other day. They were all natural, real beef, with no nitrates! I guess that's a good thing. Anyways, they were yummy to dip in ketchup.

Mommy and I like to be silly. Check out our faces! I got to help take the picture! I love to use the camera. Did I mention that I am saying some simple sentences now? My mom said to me "You stop it!" and I said "You stop it!" She laughed. I am pretty much a parrot these days. I like to impersonate and copy whatever I hear. Be careful and only say things you want me to repeat! I am always listening:)

Have a happy LOVE day!
Love you, Brody

My First at Elements

I got my very first salon haircut this past week. We went to this fancy little place with big mirrors. It smelled like hairspray there. I got to wear this flashy cape- looked like a super hero in it. The buzzers tickled my ears but I was unfazed by the entire experience. I even got a little hairspray in my hair to give me a little spike. I think I look as studly as my Dad now.

Following the haircut I got to go see the "Anemals" at the Pet Station. I love to go there and hang out with the Nemo fish and the crazy birds. They even had some really funny puppies there. We then dined at Los Tres. I love to dip my chips in the salsa! The chicken quesadilla was fabulous too. Did I mention how awesome our moon has been lately. I love to watch it in the morning and at night. I am a little confused where it goes during the day. All I see then is a bright ball in the sky called the sun.

Well anyway...time for bed. I am whipped. Getting up at 530am with mom and dad wears a kid out:) Sleep Tight!

B R O D Y

"Hey Boy" and oh yeah girls too. I like to call people boy! It's funny. Sorry for the late post. I have been adjusting to my new FULL SIZE bed. It's awesome to have so much room to flip and turn all night long. Plus it's really cool to have my mom or dad cuddle with me in my bed when I wake up in the night. Big news of the week...I finally decided I would tell others my name. My name is "Bwody".

My mom decided a photo shoot at Grandma Dede's would be fun. She's so sneaky I didn't even realize she was taking my picture. Usually I wouldn't pose so well for her if I knew what she was doing.

This is pac (pronounced pass). I love it! When I'm tired or don't feel well or just plain want it, I let you know. Pac? Pac?! Pac?

Daddy dresses up for work and for his "hoop ball" games. I thought I would try out the tie thing to see if I look as stylish as he does. Well...what do you think?

So "Beeg"

So I'm 20 months old is what they tell me but I'm here to tell you that I'm "Beeg". I can ride a scooter, feed the dog, vacuum, put on my own pants (without much assistance), shovel the driveway, and sleep in a full size bed! I just began undressing myself- how liberating! I can tell you "no" and "yes" sometimes. I like things just right. Don't move a thing out of place or drop things and leave them. I get very upset. Every thing has its place- unless I decide otherwise. I love to eat and eat and eat, especially "hookies" and "meelk". My parents make me mad because they don't always let me have my hookies. Watch out when I'm mad. I have a beeg temper too (toddlerism). I am really taking interest in the potty too. I think I will try out the big potty sometime soon. Well, back to my choo choos. Shorge is waiting for me to get off the computer and come play!

Down for the count in 2010

Hope you had a great start to the new year. I did, but I didn't. I was happy to spend New Year's with my mom and dad but I was a little under the weather. A nasty ear infection and cold took over New Year's Eve Eve. I was a little surprised by the vicious attack. All of a sudden, all I wanted was my paci, blankey, and to watch George DVDs over and over. This is pretty crazy for me since I never like to watch TV for more than a few minutes at a time. Oh no...we're talking hours and hours of TV. I just felt too weak to do anything. Even my choo choos didn't get me very excited. After a few round of my VERY FIRST antibiotic, I kicked that nasty cold to the curb.

Feeling more like myself again. Can't you tell? People say I could be a part of the band KISS??? Not sure what KISS is but okay. I'm a rocker at heart. You should see me dance and play the keyboard.

SNOW!!!! We got lots of snow the past couple weeks. I really like to shovel it and it helps my dad out. We have shoveled the driveway a couple times now. It's fun! I also get to ride in my sled around the block. Weeeeee!!!!

Happy 2010! Can you believe how fast time flies? Oh...my current stats: I weighed in at 30lbs. and a whopping 33 1/2 inches tall right before the New Year.
Keep Smiling:)
