Born in the USA!

Wow! These past two weeks have been out of this world! Happy Belated Fourth of July! I hope you all enjoyed the great American past times like I have. Nothing better than grilling out, watching baseball, and playing at the park. Playing inside can be cool too when you have a tunnel. This has kept me very busy as of late. I like to crawl through my tunnel and throw balls through it. Thanks Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Brad!

I have really enjoyed the warm weather. It has given me the opportunity to run around with my shirt off. Here I am posing for the camera! Watch out ladies! Also, notice my new shoes. I can run like the wind with these new kicks!

Mom and Dad let me do sparklers to celebrate the Fourth. Pretty cool and HOT HOT HOT! I made sure to tell everyone. I really liked the firework show at Cascades. I watched the entire show and said "ooohhh" and "ahhhh" without prompting. I also managed to shock people with a few new words- hot dog, uh oh, all done and one other word I can't remember.

Here I am at my Uncle Peter's house celebrating the Fourth. This is Great Grandma Denise, Aunt Janine and Joey and Tommy. I had so much fun chasing the boys and dogs around that day.

Well... the boys and dogs were pretty cool MOST of the day. I guess I did have a meltdown for a moment.

Grandma Diane was lots of fun. She always follows me around and seems to be quite amused by my adventures. Here we are with my favorite thing of all time a... BALL!!!

Dad took me to Ella Sharp to play one day. The flowers were extraordinary!

Go Tigers! I got to go to my first Tiger game last week. I was so excited to see all the balls, bats and people cheering. Though I didn't catch much of the game, I had a great time. Watching people and running around is really cool when you're at a baseball park.

Can't wait to hear about your summer happenings! Feel free to leave me a comment. I love to read them.

Exploring

Happy Summer! I had a great week, did you? My new cousin finally arrived. Please welcome Olivia Michel Tucker born on June 24th in Phoenix. I got to see a glimpse of her via Skype the other day. She's cute...doesn't say much but seems pretty cool. I got to explore a new park this weekend. It was a great time because I got to slide and climb and swing with both my mom and dad. Sliding is okay but climbing is even MORE FUN!

This past weekend I got to take a tractor ride with my Grandpa Parrott. It was a great time. I wish we could go fast but I guess without a helmet we have to take it easy. I am so into adventure and going fast. I like to walk as fast as I can despite the fact that I often fall and hit my head. The thrill outweighs the injury I guess.

We went to Cascades to feed the geese old bread. I thought the bread was still pretty good myself. Instead of tossing pieces to the geese I ate it. Mom says I need to learn to share. Hmm...that's going to be tough especially when it comes to food. I really like eating!

The stairs are still a favorite of mine. I can reach the top in seconds and come back down pretty quick too. I am quick as lightning when I'm in my birthday suit- better grip and no clothing in my way. I think doing all these stairs have helped me get into some pretty good shape. Don't you think?

This is a BIG NO NO spot. I just can't seem to understand why I can't crawl on the printer. It's a great thing to climb on and see outside. It also has cool buttons to push that make noise. I always seem to get in trouble when I get on it though:(. Bummer.

So long...

Walk this way!

Well, I did it! I finally gained the courage to pick up my bat and walk. I have to tell you, it's amazing how much fun it is to walk around. I can go room to room and even outside on my feet! Sometimes I get going so fast that I can't catch up to myself and I tumble to the floor. I am working on a nice banana bruise collection on my knees and arms. Sometimes it hurts but mostly I just get back up and try again.

The summer weather is upon us now! Whoo hoo! I have been hanging at Grandma and Grandpa Tucker's pool the last couple days. Don't be jealous, I am getting a pretty nice suntan despite the SPF 55.

I really enjoy eating outside. It's so relaxing to begin my day eating breakfast, watching the squirrels frolic and hear Wrigley go crazy. You should try it!

This is where I like to wind down for the night- Mom and Dad's bed. I often get to hang out there before bed with Mom and Dad. We read, talk, wrestle and laugh on the "big bed" then it's off to bed for me. Sometimes, when I have rough times sleeping in my room I get to come back to the "big bed" and cuddle. I LOVE THAT!

Night night!

P.S. I hope to meet my new cousin any day... stay tuned for more info!

My Way or the Highway

I had some friends over the other day. It was so much fun! We played outside and in my playroom. I got to show Avah and Benn my toys and swings. I think they had a good time! It was a great excuse to stay up past my bedtime. I think we played until 1030pm! By the way... I finally have come to enjoy my slumber. I usually crash around 8pm and wake up by 715am. I have to get up in time to catch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. That mouse makes me smile everytime.

I have mastered going up and down the stairs all by myself. It is a blast to have some freedom, especially in my backyard.

I like to get my way! If I get told "no" I sometimes throw a fit. It just doesn't seem fair that I can't go around with food on my face and in my hair or unplug stuff. I find that my fits don't get me anywhere. My parents are pretty tough. They say they love me. Hmmm... still trying to figure that one out.

My mom and dad went to Cousin Tom's wedding reception. I didn't go. I thought playing with G and G Dunlap sounded like much more fun. Below are my mom's cousins on the Tucker side.

Awww... here's my Dad and Mom out on the town without me. It's okay. I think we all had fun that night.

So long friends. Oh, I forgot to tell you. We have two new cars. Here I am in my new Honda Accord. I like it! It's stylish and great on gas! My dad is driving a Hummer. Not sure what that means except it's big and Dad seems to smile whenever he is driving it.

Have a good one!

When Nature Calls

I witnessed my first wild animal attack. This morning Mom and I were doing our normal morning routine- get up, change clothes, let Wrigley out to potty and get breakfast ready. Well... it all changed. We looked outside only to see Wrigley with a bird in his mouth. The bird was struggling at first to break free from Wrigley's jaw but lost the battle quite quickly.
The victim.
The attacker, aka Bark Bark.

The eye witness.
In other news...I had a great week. I still have not decided to retire from crawling. I celebrated Grandma Vicki's birthday at Make It Yours Pottery- we made a cool cookie jar. I rode a tractor. I spent some time with Dad while Mom worked. I can't wait for Dad to be done with work for the summer. We have so much fun when we're all home together.

Busy Bee

Happy Tuesday... sorry I seem to be stuggling to make the Monday post deadline. Anyway, here are some highlights from the past week. I finally got a chance to play in my new sandbox. Wow, what fun! I really wanted to toss the sand on the wood chips but mom wasn't so into that idea. She tried to show me how to fill the buckets to make sandcastles. I really liked the way the sand felt. Something told me it wouldn't taste very good so I didn't even give it a taste test.

I also have found a new hiding place. There is a big cupboard in the kitchen that I can fit in once I take out all the plasticware that usually resides in it. They will never find me once I figure out how to shut the cupboard door. Hahaha...I'm so sneaky.

My most favorite food of all time... BANANAS!!!! I love them so much I try to eat the entire banana in one bite.

Well gotta go. There are many more things to see and do!!! I am standing up all the time, just not sure when to take the plunge and begin to walk. Hmmmm... sometime soon. Oh...I'm getting a new cousin soon. I guess things are moving and we should expect the arrival of Baby Tucker before June 20th. I'm hoping for a boy so I can show him all my tricks and we can wrestle together some day.
Happy June!

One and On the Move

Greetings! Isn't the warm weather awesome! I get to do so much fun stuff now that it's nice out. Mom and Dad took me on a bike ride this past weekend. I guess I'm too small to ride a bike so I get to hang out in the cart and eat puffs. Not a bad deal.

Cousins Marc, Nick and Gabe celebrated their 1st birthdays too. Here I am taking a ride in their cool wagon. I love to get my hands on other kids toys. It's like going to the toy store.

Here they are trying to devour their own cake. I really wanted to stick my hand in one but I behaved.

I've really figured out how to work the crowd. Here I am making one of my best faces that tend to get me what I want.

Have you ever appreciated the fun that takes place under a table? It's like a fort. I love to walk and crawl under it. I don't even mind when I bump my head- which happens quite often.

I am practicing my numbers and letters. Sometimes I just like to throw the magnets all over the floor and put them back on the fridge. Simple pleasures I guess.

There are many neat things that come with being one year old. Did I mention I know how to get Wrigley quiet? I tell him "shhhh" and I think he knows I mean business. I love the fact that I get to eat sweets sometimes. Ice cream is SO YUMMY. I have also tried hamburger and refried beans...love them. I still can't get the confidence to walk on my own. With time, with time. I am not in any rush to have to walk everywhere when I can be carried. Hmmm... I can't seem to think of any other neat things to share. Oh...Dr. Tim said I looked great at my one year check-up. I currently weigh 23 lbs. 12 oz. and I am 31 inches tall.
Okay..time for bed. Good night and good news.
