No More Umbilical Stump!

This past week has been eventful! Lets see, I lost my umbilical stump, took my first bath, went to watch daddy coach, went and bought flowers, got to see all my grandparents, went to the mall and even went on a walk(stroller ride) with my new friend Avah Gaston. What a week!

My sleep patterns are still irregular which I find fun, because I get to see mommy and daddy at all different times during the night. But, to my credit there are times where I pull off 3-4 hours sleeps.

I have had a ton of visitors this week. Some who come bearing gifts and some who come carrying food for mommy and daddy. All of my visitors have been great. I love the opportunity to meet new people that care for me.

I am starting to make different facial expressions for different reasons; smile=happy or full diaper, serious face=exploring or full diaper, frown/cry/scream= not what I want to be doing or full diaper. So as you can see my parents are still trying to figure me out. As I am doing the same with them!

I also had a chance to meet my cousin Ella Tucker via satellite. She sounded very excited to meet me in person.

1 week old

Well, I have made it a week. I feel great and I have been told that I look great! I went to the pediatrician today for my one week check up and everything went smooth. I have even gained 2 ounces! I have been doing pretty well at night and letting mommy and daddy get some rest. But, I still like to keep them on their toes. I have been on three walks now and I absolutely love them! Wrigley and I have been getting along, even though he thinks I am little strange. He is working on his anger management problems when it comes to sharing.

Daddy was a little camera happy one day and was taking a lot of photos. I decided I would like to share a few of them with you.

This is me and my mommy. I look forward to seeing her everyday. She is looking great by the way!

It is time for me to get off the computer as mommy keeps a close eye on the amount of time I blog. I thought I would leave you with a shot of me doing what I love best. Exploring!

Finally, the wait is over. I am here!

I decided that I would make my appearance on May 12th at 7:34 p.m. And what an appearance it was.

Once I met my parents though everything was much much better.

I had a lot of visitors that night. It gave me a chance to meet a lot of my family members. G & G Parrott, G & G Dunlap, G & G Tucker, Aunt Wendy and Uncle Steven, Great Grandma Parrott, Auntie D, Uncle Jim and Aunt Peg, Aunt Janine, Uncle Jack and Cousin Jack. . Some of them had even been waiting 8 hours to meet me. I was very attentive for them and made it worth their wait!

The hospital treated me good, but after three days and a few shots later I decided it was time to go home. I was soo excited to finally sit in my car seat that mommy and daddy had picked out for me. I loved how comfortable it was as I decided it was nap time as soon as I sat in it.

I am feeling a little tired. I had a BIG few days and I am ready to spend some cuddle time with mommy and daddy! Talk to you soon.
