Fun around the house

Hey Guys! Is it summer yet??? I keep asking my mom this question when I see more sunshine. She says, "No, not yet." Bummer! I want to do outdoor things so badly. In the meanwhile, I'm trying to enjoy the fine activities indoors. What fond memories I have of the baby play mat and the singing sunshine. I think I was enjoying it more than Preslie.
Here are my bristle block boats with monsters on them. Mom and I had boat races the other day. My guys won every time.
Pancakes are one of my favorite breakfast foods. I ask for them quite often. Nothing better than pancakes and some cartoons in the morning. I refer to cartoons as "shows" or "my movies".
I wasn't very pleased with what my parents were asking me to do. I decided to defy them and grab my paci and lie on the floor to protest.
This is my sister. I am really getting to know her better and miss her when we don't see each other for a little while. She will be so much fun to wrestle...I CAN'T WAIT!!!
Oh...I forgot to share some stats...I went to the doc a couple weeks ago for my cold. I weigh 34.5 lbs. and I think I'm around 39 inches tall.
Until next time...I am hoping to go to the Treehouse soon and maybe Great Wolf Lodge. I'll be sure to post the pics.

Good, Bad and back to normal

Greetings! Have I got some things to share with you! These past few weeks have been an emotional and behavioral roller coaster for me. I thought it was super cool to have a new sister and be a big brother and all that. I got some cool new stuff because of it. But then...I realized that baby sister isn't leaving and now she seems to take MORE of my mom's attention then ever before. All I want to do is play and be waited on like usual. Well...I decided in order to get that attention I would act crazy! It worked but it wasn't fun. I had lots of time outs, some spankings and even got some toys taken away. NO FUN. After a day with Grandma, where I got to be king again, I decided to return to my old ways of being nice and listening more to my parents.

I got to hang out with O-dog...my cousin from Scottsdale. She was fun! We wrestled a little bit, went swimming at the Y, went to a bball game and out to eat. It was nice to have a cousin around to hang with...even if she was a girl. Uncle Mike was a blast too! We really need to get together more often.
It finally decided to warm up this past week. We got to go for a walk and I got to puddle jump. Oops! I fell and got wet. Oh well, it was worth it!
Come spring, come! I want to do water balloons!

New Year, New Activities

Happy New Year! Boy, this big brother thing is tough and consuming most of my free time:) Sorry, I haven't posted in a while. I joined a tumbling class where my Grandma Linda teaches. It is so much fun to jump on the trampoline and play other games.

I am really testing the waters with anyone who is in charge lately. Here I am being silly. I normally like to make everyone happy but occasionally I like to be naughty and use some nasty words. I usually end up in timeout and then I try to remember not to say those things again.
Dad and I went sledding. It was awesome! I'm so ready for Cascades.
Bath time is still one of my favorite activities.

Baby Sis has ARRIVED!

My sister has arrived. Meet Preslie Zora Parrott. She was born on Tuesday, December 21st at 11:44am. She is 6lbs. 15oz, 20 1/2 inches long, and a 13 3/4 inch head. I LOVE to hold her and give her kisses. I even thought it would be nice to get her a prize for Christmas. She told me she wanted 2 blue trucks for Christmas. I told Dad we must go to Toys R Us for her present.

Merry Christmas to ALL!

Ho, ho, Ho! Merry Christmas! Peace, love and joy to all. I just love Christmas time. Everything about it: Jesus Birthday, Santa, Christmas lights, COOKIES, presents and the coming of my baby sister. Baby sis is going to arrive on Tuesday I think. I just got a new watch so I will be able to keep track of what time she's born too! Here I am at my mom's work party with Santa and Mrs. Claus. I told him I would like some trains. He said, "Ho, ho, ho!"

Mom, Dad and I made Christmas cookies too. Boy, I love to eat them. Baking them is okay but eating them is my favorite part.

This is my snowman Wally. Mom and I are very proud of him. He did melt a little in the sun but I still call the mound of snow Wally. I look forward to making him BIG again.
Dad, Grandma and I worked on a special surprise for my mom and Baby Sis. We painted this phrase on the wall. It was from a song that Mommy and Daddy liked written for a little girl. Mommy LOVED our surprise.

Well, it may be snowing outside but I'm gearing up for swimming time already. I enjoy strapping my frog float on and jumping into the carpet like it was a puddle. Mom and Dad took me swimming indoors at the Y. It was so cool. I want to go back again tonight but they said I have to wait until another day.
Keep warm. Merry Christmas! Snuggle with the ones you love. If you're looking for a great movie to watch over the holiday, I suggest Polar Express OR Incredibles. If you watch Incredibles, you will see clips of me running through the woods. I like to be called "Dash" when I'm in my superhero costume.

TGiving and Xmas preparations

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you all had a great holiday. I did of course. I got to play with all these kids and eat yummy food too!

Dad likes to be my canvas. I decorated his face with stickers. I think he looks awesome!

Baby Sis is coming soon they tell me. My mom is getting a big belly so I figure something must be going on. I guess I'm excited to find out what's been growing in there. She better be cool and like to play trains.

We got to visit the zoo in the dark. It was super cool! They had tons of Christmas lights, an area to make ornaments and decorate cookies too!

I got to help Dad chop down our very first, real Christmas tree. I was a master of the saw! We also got to go on a tractor ride. What a fabulous experience.

Some other updates...I'm still working on the potty thing. I like to go but only when I feel like it. I'm still a fan of the diaper:). I go to bed on my own sometimes without anyone lying with me or bouncing me. I know how to count and I know my colors. I have quite the personality that sometimes gets me in trouble. I occasionally spend some time in the time-out chair. Otherwise, I love to cuddle, watch movies, and play "tackle" with my dad.

Hope you enjoy the snow out there! I'm headed out to build a snowman, I hope!

Fall is Flying By...

Hey Guys! Hope you're doing well. I have been so busy this fall I can barely keep up somedays...even with a nap. I loved fall this year and proved to be an extreme help in the yard. I raked leaves, bagged them up and even got to work with a leaf blower!!!! Super fun! Halloween was extremely exciting. I got to Trick or Treat at a church and in my neighborhood. It was a blast! I dressed up like a cheeseburger...everyone seemed to think I was pretty cool. Check out my pics below. We had a photo shoot with our family of 4! Check out how big Baby Sis is getting.

Dad and I were playing dress up with wigs. I think I look like a rock star for sure! Your thoughts?

Hope to keep you updated more often. Stay tuned for the latest happenings. Oh, if you haven't seen Toy Story 3, you better check it out. I LOVE it!
