Cousin Ella, Sledding, Family and My First Christmas!

First, let me apologize for skipping a week of blogging. I know how disappointed my friends were.
I can not explain how exciting the last two weeks have been. Except for the part where I had a nasty cough! The Christmas season brings so many smiles to the faces of everyone, not to mention mine. I have been doing some considerable growing and changing lately. I am very active with my hands and my voice. Mama, Dada, and high pitch noises have been the sounds of late. I do like to say hi or hey as well.
My friends have told me that they love to read what I have to say...but even more they like the pictures that I share with them. My parents are very talented at taking way too many pictures of me, but I guess that is a great thing for you. So, by popular demand here you go. Enjoy!
Here I am with my cousin Ella. She came all the way from Phoenix, AZ. She is very fun, smart, pretty and she thinks the world of me.

Well, this was my first sledding experience. I can not say that I enjoyed it as much as you think I would have. It was rather cold with a blistering wind that day. I did like the part of getting pulled around though:)

Now, to the good part. Here I am celebrating Christmas. My first stocking full of goodies and getting to open many fantastic and thoughtful gifts. I was told why we celebrate Christmas from my parents and I really thought that was cool. Thank you Jesus!

My new baseball chair. Awesome!
This is Homer. My new rocking chair.

My new fluffy Crocs! They really keep my feet warm and toasty.

Wrigley and I getting into trouble messing with the tree. What do you think of my Christmas p.j.'s?

Grandma and Grandpa Dunlap

Grandma Parrott put on quite the Christmas Eve party at her house. I really like her tree. It was well decorated with two or three Brody bulbs.

Grandpa Parrott. Papa I love your John Deere hat!

This is the first pic of me and the Sheppard triplets. These are dada's cousin's sons: Gabe, Nic and Marcus.
Me and the boys on my Mama's side of the family.

Great Grandma Tucker.

My first time taking a bath in the kitchen sink. It was a blast!!!

That's all for now!
Happy New Year!

Christmas is Coming!

Greetings friends! So sorry the posting is so late. I was a little under the weather (again) this past weekend. No fun! I am confident I will be healthy and crazier than ever for Christmas though! Watch out!

Wrigley and I are continuing to bond. Below you will see how I've trained him to to say "cheese" for the camera. I can't wait to teach him to do more tricks.

Wrigley likes to play ball with me too! We share drool, it's okay.

I tried to help Mom find the burnt out bulbs. That's pretty frustrating sometimes so I decided to play with the other decorations.

I love to play with the camera. Here's my first picture! not sure what it is. Kinda looks like outer space?

10 days til Christmas!

Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Hey everyone I hope you are enjoying the snow and Christmas spirit as much as I am. This past week was very exciting. I experienced my first snowfall (that I actually noticed).

I helped put up the Christmas tree. I love the sparkling lights!

I met Santa and Mrs. Claus- they were so funny.

I took part in the Christmas program at church.

I also met some new friends. The guy below is Brandon, we actually were born weeks apart from each other. Our parents went to childbirth classes together. With all the excitement that the week brought I decided to sleep a little bit better for my parents. I think they were very pleased with the break I gave them:).

Here is one of my latest tricks. Hey, I love to entertain and make people laugh. Is it working?

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I have experienced another first this past week. Boy, I could really get used to holidays. So much eating and eating and more eating! I can't wait to try all the great looking stuff next year. I did get to experience mashed potatoes- not my favorite but boy did I enjoy the pumpkin in pumpkin pie! Yum! Yum!

I spent Thanksgiving at G and G Parrott's house with Aunt Wendy and her boyfriend Jason. It was a great time. Later that day I got to go play with 3 other people who are almost the same age as me. They happened to be my second cousins, Gabe, Nick and Marc. We had a great time telling each other about our toys and stuff we like to do.

In addition to the holiday, I got to spend some extra time with Dad since he was off school for a few extra days. I haven't done any new tricks as of late. Did I mention I clap now? That seems to get people really excited! If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!

Have a great week! I get to see Santa this week! Not sure who he is but all the other kids seem pretty excited when they speak of him. We'll see what I think.

Back and Better Than Ever

I went on my first date this past week. Her name is Avah Gaston. Though we didn't really speak...I think we both really had fun. Our parents were there and we got to play while they ate. We went to some Buffalo Wing place and then to Maggie Moos. I can't wait to get my hands on some tasty ice cream!!! Yummy.

I did it! I finally said Mama. I decided it was time to make my mom really happy on her anniversary so I said it three times in one day. That was enough for a while. I am saving up saying mama for another rainy day.

My cold is getting better. Boy, it's no fun to have a stuffed up nose and a cough. I finally feel like my energy is coming back now so watch out!

Daddy and I had a fun weekend together while Mommy worked. He really makes me laugh and is teaching me all I need to know about being a college football fan.

I went to the doctor for my 6 month check up. He told me that I was 28 1/2 inches long and weighed 20 lbs. 12 oz. I guess that puts me in the 95% for kids my age. Good news according to Dr. Tim.

Thanksgiving is coming this week. I understand that lots of eating takes place on that day. I wonder if I will get to taste anything?

Gobble. Gobble.

6 months old and a little under the weather

This past week marked my 6 month birthday! I have discovered so many things since my arrival. Unfortunately with age comes sickness sometimes. I am currently experiencing my first cold. I think my mom and dad worry about me, but I keep telling them with my winning smile and cute giggle that I will be okay.

I continue to enjoy the outdoors. Below you will see the photo shoot of me in Cascades Park. I feel like a movie star!

Learning to speak is one of my goals over the next few months. I continue to babble and notice that when I say "ma" and "da" people get really excited. So, I guess I will continue to work on my vocabulary.
Aunt Wendy came over to play with me. I think she's pretty funny! She always makes me smile.

I also ventured to Kalamazoo with Mom and Dad for a Silpada party. The party was at Kate and Sy Spears' house. I didn't spend much time with the girls but instead went out with Sy and Dad to Babies R Us for an emergency paci run and then we ate at Applebees- one of my favorite places to eat or watch people eat.

Other than that, I have been working on kicking a cold. Not fun to be sick and I'm bound and determined to be back in the saddle soon. I was told that Santa will be in downtown Jackson this Friday. I can't miss that!
Until next time...
