Back in the Swing of Things

Good day bloggers! I am finally back in the routine of Michigan and the eastern time zone again! It's nice to be home, but I sure don't enjoy the gloomy, cold weather. There's nothing better than swimming and running around outside in the sunshine but that's not been the case this past week. Oh well. I have mastered the art of dipping!!!! It is so cool to dip food into other food. Here I am dipping pieces of toast in my yogurt! DELICIOUS. My mom says that Fritos and cottage cheese are next. Sounds good to me! I am going through the teething stage again! This time getting big molers (hmmm...did I spell that right?). Anyways...

Here I am showing off our new fence! I have really begun to love my backyard. My mom and dad let me run around now without having to be right with me all the time. Don't get me wrong they are always watching, just not as close now. I am growing up and I think they realize it.

Mmmm...I really like to snack on pretzels! Here I am being silly. Sometimes I stick the whole thing in my mouth at once.

I had my 15 month check up! All is good again! Boy, I'm lucky to be so healthy. I weigh 25 lbs. and 14 oz. and I'm a whopping 33 inches tall. I grew 2 inches in three months!!!! Go go Gadget legs!!!!

School starts soon. I'll miss my Dad. We had a blast this summer. Looking forward to my Wolverines starting up though. GO BLUE!

The Great Southwest

Whew! I just returned home from the southwest, Scottsdale, Arizona to be exact. Mom, Dad and I went out to visit my Uncle Mike, Aunt Heidi, and Cousins Ella and Olivia. It was a wild time, that's for sure. Ella and I bonded... I think. We had to hash out the toy sharing thing, but after that was settled we played and played. I was exhausted each night and slept like a rock! Our first activity took us to the mall. They have a kid's playland there. It was a blast!

I love to change surfaces. If allowed, I will spend hours walking from carpet to lily pad or gravel to cement to grass. I think it's amazing for some reason.

We spent lots of time at the pool! There were really cool cabana things with big pillows we could lie on around the pool. It was nice to take a break in the shade after jumping and running in the pool for a while. It was pretty hot while we were there. I developed quite a nice tan without burning!!!

I never really liked these chairs as an infant but found it quite relaxing now that I'm older. I hope Olivia didn't mind.

We went hiking too! This is Pinnacle Peak. I had been here before as a young guy. I don't remember much about it though, since I slept last time. This time, I took in the beauty God has made and enjoyed relaxing while Dad did all the work.

I was amazed at how small the new baby was. I just liked to stare at her and sometimes tickle her toes. She's cute! I think I'll be a good, older cousin to her.

We also went to Sedona, AZ on Sunday. We had a blast there visiting Slide Rock. All the big people got to slide down this narrow river without a tube- just their bodies. It looked like so much fun...maybe next time I'll be big enough to go too. I enjoyed playing in a nearby puddle. Following a road trip to Slide Rock, we went to watch the Arizona Cardinals football team practice. I liked it for a while, then I decided to run up and down the sidelines. I just can't sit still for long these days. I also enjoy screaming as of late. It drives everyone crazy but it's so much fun sometimes:)

Off to bed. I have to get back on eastern standard time... boy, that can be tough on a little guy like me.

Enjoy your week. Oh...check out some pics from my photo shoot by Nicole. Visit www.nbarczakphotography.blogspot.com.

Nothing like a break

Hey all! I haven't forgotten you. I've been vacationing and decided to take a break from technology for a couple weeks. Following my break, I was having troubles uploading pictures to the site. Anyways, we're up and running again. The past couple weeks have been fun-filled and exciting. I went to Lake Michigan with my fam and friends, I took a road trip to Chicago, and spent a few days with Dad at home while Mom took a trip for her Silpada business. The new adventures have been thrilling and educational. I've included photos below highlighting my journeys. Oh, I have really come to enjoy airplanes and all they have to offer. I saw an air show at the Hot Air Jubilee and since then I've been fascinated with airplanes. Every time one flies over my house I yell "UP!".

I have become much like Tiger this summer. I could spend hours hitting my golf balls in the backyard.
Here we are at the Hot Air Jubilee air show. Those planes were so cool!

Our trip to Ludington State Park. I made some really great friends that weekend. Meet Emma, Coby and Caleb.

Dad and I love to hide out inside my tunnel. Look closely, you can see us through the screen.

Our brand new fence. We love to hang out in our backyard now!

I love drinking from the hose too! The past few days have been hot, so generally you'll find me spraying myself with the hose. What a blast!

So sorry for the delay!
See you next week,
~Brody~
