Growth Spurt

This week I have been demanding a few more feeding sessions than usual. My parents seem to think I am in the midst of a major growth spurt. I am currently weighing in at 11 pounds, 1 ounce. Friday, I spent some quality time with daddy, as mom went and worked at the hospital. I also visited Los Tres Amigos this past week and watched mommy, daddy and aunt Wendy chow on some Mexi! Disfruté realmente de la música que ellos jugaron allí! Translation " I really enjoyed listening to the music they played there!" I have been practicing my Spanish in my spare time.

We did not do a lot of things this week due to my dad having a insane ear infection. To help out I decided one night I was going to sleep five hours straight. My mommy was soo excited for me and her I think:)

I have become fascinated with my tongue and enjoy sticking it out of my mouth and then back in my mouth. I also have been testing the water with standing. I will not try this unless I have a couple of hands holding me, but none the less I give my best effort.

I spent some time outside this weekend laying on my brightly colored blanket. I absolutely love being outside. I am guessing I get that from my mom and dad.

Thanks for checking out my blog. Talk to you next week!
love ~Brody~

Oh the places I have gone...

This past week and weekend were fantastic! I had a chance to see more of my cousin Ella before they headed back to Phoenix and I was in attendance for Sy and Kate Spears' wedding.

On Tuesday I went to get my second round of Hep B shots. It did hurt a little, but I toughed it out and showed mommy and daddy I was a tough guy! The nurse gave me this hip yellow band-aid. I also found out that I've been packing on the pounds. At 5 weeks old I weighed in at a whopping 10 lbs. 15 oz.!

I always love getting some lovin from my mommy.

I got to spend some quality time with Grandpa Steve, Grandma and Grandpa Parrott and Aunt Wendy at the wedding too.

Here daddy and I are hanging out outside at the wedding. I think we both looked stellar that evening.

Until next time!

1 Month down, and many more to go!

Hello Friends and Family,

Thank you for being patient through our computer difficulties. These past two weeks have flown by. I have made a few more big strides in my walk of life: Big Smiles, grocery shopping at Meijer's, began sleeping 4 hours straight during the night, played out in the backyard, went to see the Bean Elementary 5th graders on their last day of school and even made my way to the pool and the lake! You name it, I was there!

I have continued my bouncing obsession which at times seems to be the only way to calm me down.

The weather in Michigan is always strange and last week was no different. There were two days where we hit the low to mid 90's. h\Hot! Hot! Hot! I cooled off by laying in the shade with mommy and Wrigums.

I was pleasantly surprised by the visit of my cousin Ella from Phoenix. She brought along her mommy and daddy as well who are my aunt and uncle. She kept saying she loved me and wanted to give me hugs and kisses. I can't wait to chase her around.

For Father's Day I decided I would treat daddy extra special. Mommy and I bought him(us) a GPS system. I told him he could use it for getting me to the zoo and parks that I want to visit someday. I was also treated with getting to see all of my grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles too. What a special day!
Make sure to check out the new slide show on my page- top left hand corner. If you are not in there, you will be soon! ~BRODY~

Gotta love those viruses!

Mommy and Daddy told me that our computer is sick. I guess they get viruses that cause them not to work sometimes. We should be up and running soon. Stay tuned for lots of pictures. I have been a busy boy...summertime is GREAT!

Daytime IS fun!

These last 3 weeks have been a whirlwind! There are so many new things to see and hear. This past week I have begun to appreciate black and white photography. I especially enjoy the Eiffel Tower and Empire State Building photos in my living room. Mommy and Daddy promise to take me there some day when I'm bigger.

I also learned that staying awake (during the day) can be fun! Mommy and I play patty-cake! I am still trying to learn the words though. Wrigley and I have also been bonding. He is going to be a blast to ride in few more months! I experienced swinging this week thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Parrott. I think I could really like it!

Along with my growing appreciation for art, I have really come to enjoy the outdoors. Mommy and Daddy take me on walks and also let me sit and enjoy our back yard. I have been known to take naps in my stroller outside. Ahhhh...nothing like fresh air.

And what about those Tigers? Daddy says we must be TRUE fans no matter if we winning or losing. I totally agree!
Boy, I'm whipped! Time for a nap.

I wonder what this week will bring!
