More than MILK?

This week I got to experience food, at least that's what my parents tell me it is. It still seems odd to eat from a spoon rather than a bottle, but I'm getting the hang of it. The orange stuff is sweet potato. I think it's pretty tasty. The swallowing thing is a little tricky. Sometimes the food ends up on my face instead.

The green stuff is called peas. I really did well with those. They weren't so rich like the potatoes. I could swallow and keep them in pretty well.

I'm really a big fan of grapes- at least the juice from them is pretty good. I also have tried yogurt and a little applesauce. I still think the peas went down best. This food thing is pretty fun and a little scary. I never know what's next but I hope I like it!
Daddy has been working with me on my crawling. I can push off his hands all the way across the room. All I need to learn to do is to get up on my knees. I don't think it will be long. I love to move!

Bundle up out there! I think season called Winter is quickly approaching. I am determined to get through this season without getting sick. Are you up for the challenge?

Happy Week!

Monkeying Around

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! Thanks Marcie for my pumpkin outfit. I am told the backside of this get up is the best part:).

This week was really fun at my house! I got to play outside in the leaves, see fire in the fireplace for the first time and sit on my daddy's shoulders. Now that I can sit pretty well, Daddy said I could ride on his shoulders all the time.

As you can see, I dressed up like a monkey for my first Halloween. Everyone said it was cute, I thought it was hot and that belly got in my way. Oh well, it made my grandparents smile. It was really cool, I got to see all 6 of them in one night!!

Grandma Dede and Grandpa Chuck made me a mouse out of an acorn squash (yum) and also gave a card with monies to help pay for college (that's what my parents tell me).

Grandpa and Grandma Parrott stopped by with a cool bag of goodies. I got a new chew toy, some yummy baby food, and a book!

Grandma and Grandpa Tucker were HILARIOUS! They introduced me to the REAL magic pumpkin. I wasn't afraid, I thought he was cool.

Three Musketeers! I think Wrigley felt left out.

I really enjoyed getting to play in the leaves. They crunch when you sit in them! Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Parrott came over and watched me play. They also brought me a pumpkin filled with cool stuff.

I ended my exciting week at Roxy Cafe with Mommy and her friends. I love going there! Everyone always smiles and talks to me. I feel like a movie star when I'm there to eat breakfast.

Time for bed!

Good night bloggers.

Another day in the life of Brody Parrott...

Blogger friends, how are you? I am doing fantastic! I have been doing some exploring this week. I am getting closer to crawling, I can sit up by myself now... well, for a few minutes anyway, I experienced bananas that are mashed up and I am working on my clapping.

I have noticed that I create a few loads of laundry every two weeks. So this week I thought I would pitch in and help out.

I really enjoy hanging out with daddy and watching football games. I have taken a liking to watching football games (Notre Dame). Nothing else, just football. I also enjoy being tossed in the air!

Mommy and I had a chance to try out the new bench that daddy put in this past week. We got to see daddy struggle to lift and maneuver 300 pound slabs of stone in the rain, but he got them in and it looks great! These are stones from the old curb in front of Jackson High School. Pretty neat I think.

Even though the temperature here in good ole Michigan is dropping, I still love being outdoors. Something about the fresh air helps me sleep better.

What do you think about my winter hat? Mommy likes it, but daddy thinks it is a little odd!

I love hearing about all the people reading my blog. Just wanted to let you know that we appreciate everything everybody does for us. Family and friends are something we can never take for granted.

The Great Outdoors

I really enjoy spending time outside. Whether it's strolling through the neighborhood or simply hanging out in my backyard, I LOVE to play outside.

I was introduced to leaves this week. I decided I would sample one...not very tasty.

Here is my new trick...pacifier upside down. I think it's fun to play with my paci. I can
take it in and out of my mouth with no problem.

My mom showed me a new ride this week. It's a JEEP stroller, kinda like Daddy's cars. I like to ride in it because my feet dangle.

Sorry I was late posting this week. The week flies by when you're having as much fun as I do.

Love you all...enjoy the pretty colors out there!
Happy Birthday Uncle Mike!

Fall is falling

Hi Everyone! Hope you are enjoying the Indian Summer we have been experiencing, I sure am! I love the warm days because I get to play outside and the cool nights have allowed me to sleep a little better at night.

Here are my pumpkins. I think the orange color is pretty cool! I'm not really sure what they are for but I like how bright they are.

I am continuing to work on my sitting. I can almost balance myself without a helping hand. In the meantime, I will continue to roll to where I want to go. Clapping is fun too. I have almost got the hang of making noise by hitting my hands together.

I also got to help Mom and Grandma Dede paint pottery this week at Make It Yours. I forgot my camera so I don't have any pics to show you how much fun I had. I even caught a little shut-eye while I was there.

Hope my readers are doing well.
Love,
