Positively FUN

I haven't forgotten about you guys. The last couple weeks have been so busy at our house. The beginning of May marks many important dates. First we celebrated Mom's Day, always nice to show my mom how much I love her. Then it was Daddy's 30th birthday. Aren't we two peas in a pod??? Look at those faces:) We had Maggie Moos ice cream cupcakes and went to some golf stores. Daddy always loves a trip to the golf store and I really enjoyed putting on the indoor greens myself. Can't wait to go putt-putting.

The next day was my birthday. Yep, I'm two and I'll tell anyone who asks. I am proud to announce that I can do some counting and I know my colors. I love the say the word yellow. I prefer to say "Yellellow" it's more fun that way. Anyways, Mom and Dad and I went to the Toledo Zoo to see the animals.

Days later we had my big party at home. All the cousins came over and we had a blast playing in the borrowed bounce house. We also played ball and of course did some serious eating. My party was Curious George themed so we had pasta, salad, bread, and of course yellow hat and monkey cupcakes. I think some even saved room for banana splits. I got lots of great new toys and really enjoyed seeing all my family and friends.

And the final big event is....I am going to be a big brother!!!! Mom and Dad let it out of the bag. Baby Parrott is 10 weeks old and doing great! Mommy has been tired but I don't mind taking naps together, it's fun! I guess this new baby will be available to give backwards knuckles to around Christmas time. I can't wait to teach the baby all my tricks and to introduce it to George.

Nap time,

Come On!

Come on!!! I love to tell people what to do. I often tell them to "shum on"! I am learning how to speak clearly and in sentences. Since I was about 22 months old I began putting two and three words together and making sense of it all. I am now expanding my vocab and sentences to include 4 and 5 words. I also follow directions quite well when I feel like doing what is being asked of me. I love to help out! Here I am below taking my own picture. Pretty nice isn't it?

Our daffodil photo shoot at Cascades. It was brief but I let Mom shoot the pics she likes to take every year at this time. I guess the flowers are pretty.

Look closely at my teeth. My canine teeth finally decided to poke through. I thought I would have four gaps in my teeth forever but nope...they finally arrived. I have been sleeping much more sound now.

I much prefer to push the stroller or walk on my own. I feel riding is for babies and I'm definitely a big boy.

I've been going to lots of parties these past few weekends. Here are some balloons I got from Ben's party. I feel like Curious George when I hold them. I wish I would fly like he does. My birthday countdown is on....I will be 2 in another 2 weeks!!!

So long for now:)

Spring Break '10

Sorry, I've been MIA these past couple weeks. It's been a busy one for sure. Mom and Dad had lots of things planned for Spring Break '10. Below, I met a new friend- Lady Bug. She decided to land on my shoulder and hang out for a while. Kinda weird so I brushed her off after a while. "Go bug, go!" I told her.

Splash Universe! I conquered the slides! Check it out. There were tons of kids there and some didn't understand how to wait their turn for the slide. A couple girls slid down and landed on me before I could get off the slide. I just gave them the look but kept my comments to myself. Silly girls.

Daddy and Mommy played with me and took me on the bigger slides and in the lazy river. After the pool time we ate at Applebees and then had a sleepover in a hotel room. It was a blast! The next morning I insisted to go to the "toys! toys" at 7am. Little did I know that the water park didn't open until 9am!!!

Happy Easter! I got to celebrate the night before! Mom and Dad and I did our dancing to my keyboard songs and I got some prizes in my Easter basket. Cool new shades, some snacks, coloring books and sticker books. Oh and Curious George 2!!! I love the new movie...much better than the first one. Kayla the elephant is great! Check it out.

GO TIGERS!! I was their number one fan the other day! Not only did I cheer and yell "Go Tigers!" I also danced to every song played between hitters and innings. After each song I said, "All done, next song!" I had new moves for every tune. Here I am with Uncle Steve and Grandpa Steve. We had a blast! We ate pretzels and cheese and rode the baseball ferris wheel twice!!! Whoo hooo!!! I even showed Grandpa how to get back to our seats. I think he was impressed about my sense of direction.

Oh, I forgot. Mom and Dad went to Vegas for a few days and I got to stay with Grandma Dede, Grandpa Chuck and Poppy and Grandma Vicki. I had a blast! I was glad my parents had time together to hang out. While they were gone I mastered the identification of all my colors. I am learning things by the minute. I will tell you how and when to do something. I will let you know if I don't like something and I do like things picked up and in their place. I don't like messy fingers and I let Wrigley know when he needs to stop barking. I pretty much have life under control and think I'm ready for bigger and better things. I'm not really sure what that means...I've heard people say that before:) Watch out! I'm always listening and repeating...no matter what!

Spring FEVER...

Spring was in the air last week and I was enjoying every minute of it! I got to go see the ducks and geese and kids at Cascades. After some schooling from a little girl at the playground I have conquered the curly slide all by myself. I did swing around and go down backwards twice. It was kinda scary. I cried a little but went back and tried again.

Did I tell you I know my colors??? I can point out red, blue, green, yellow and orange. Just ask me and I'll tell you. I also love to talk about the "Mooon" and "Sun". I am learning about why the sun is out during the day and the moon at night. I was really confused the other day when I saw the moon during the daytime. Hmmm....

Happy Birthday to Grandpa Chuck!!!! We had lasagna and cupcakes to celebrate. Yum yum. Oh, though spring has sprung...I have been a little under the weather. Feeling better though. Gotta get ready for Easter:)

Love, B

I am Thankful!

Thank you to all of those who care about me! I am little but I know I have so many people that love me and care for me. I am one lucky guy. I want to thank my Grandma Dede and Grandpa Chuck for spending so many of their days with me while Mommy and Daddy are at work. I love going on our walks at the mall and playing ball, cars and music at home with you. You are both so fun and seem to like to do all the things I like, especially playing chase and follow the leader:)

Thank you to my weekend crew, Poppy and Grandma Vicki! Thank you for being available on short notice to watch me when Mommy and Daddy have dates or last minute things that come up. I love our time together! I really enjoy coming over and playing cars at the table with you. I will master the Wii sooner or later:) I can't wait until summer and we can hang out together outside even more.

Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Tucker who are always a good time. I love coming over to play piano and shoot hoops in the big hoop downstairs. Swimming will be so fun this summer. I think I may try the diving board this season. Thanks for being a back up babysitter. I know you guys are busy and I appreciate you watching me when you can!

Thanks to Aunt Neen too! You are a fun babysitter sub! I can always count on a good time when you watch me. I think next time you watch me we should go to your house to hang with the chickens. I love to feed those crazy birds!

Thanks to Aunt Wendy. You are a blast to be with and I love our time together. You always treat me soo nice and you love to make me laugh. Plus, you let me watch Curious George!

Oh and thanks to the Langley's next door. I always like to drop in on them to say hi and play with all their toys. Sometimes I drag in mud on their floor and make a mess of their toys. I am working on picking up after myself. Thanks for being patient guys!

Hope this is the last time you'll see me sporting this hat. I am SO READY for Spring!!!

Spring is slowly SpRiNgINg!

Ahhh nothing better than a hot and steamy shower! Here I am rinsing off after a long day of play! I wasn't a big fan of showering until recently because I didn't like the water in my eyes. I figured out I need to close my eyes to keep the water out!

I am loving the pre-Spring weather we've had lately. I love playing outside on my bike and going for walks. Daddy was hurdling me on my bike the other day. It was pretty funny.

I got to go to Aunt Neen's house to see the chickens. Not only did I get to feed them but I also got to hunt for real eggs. It was a blast. I was not so fond of the big turkeys but I loved the chickens. Can't wait to go back again to visit. Following my visit to the farm, Mom and I had a hot date at TJ's Freeze. I ate my very own baby vanilla cone all by myself. Mom was impressed with how well I did. I even mastered the art of licking my cone. YUMMMMM!!!

I kept forgetting to tell you all about my newly remodeled bathroom. My dad worked long and hard on the tiling along with the installation of a new vanity. My mom did the painting and I supervised. Doesn't it look great?

Don't forget to set your clocks back this weekend! Also, check out the stars and moon sometime. Their beauty amazes me every time I see them. I just don't get why I can't see the moon and sun during the day and at night?

Friends

Happy Wednesday everyone! I have had a super fun week. For Valentine's Day I got to go hang out with Daddy's kids in his classroom. My mom brought cupcakes and all the goods to decorate them. They were yummy and I loved to visit with Daddy's students. I think they liked me too.

This is my buddy Dawson. We met up at the TreeHouse the other day to play. We kinda do our own thing when we get there but we are still friends. He really likes to climb on the tables and I was fascinated with the choo-choos, along with going UP the slides.

This is the baby area. I like to make an appearance in there just to show all the little kids the tricks. I'm sure my mom won't let me play in there much longer...I am almost 2!

I LOVE SNOW DAYS!!! Daddy and I worked hard on this snowman the other day. Isn't he cool? We used Mommy's hat and scarf, Daddy's gloves, red grapes for the eyes, mouth and buttons and a carrot for the nose of course. Wrigley did want in on the action too. It appears there are some missing button. Silly dog!

Enjoy the snow! Make a snowman.
